This is an unpaid position and you will be reporting to and working closely with our communications coordinator.

Your role in this position would vary from creating and posting contents on G4P social media pages such as facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest and Google+.

In addition, you will be putting up post blog posts.

Amazon Gets Offline Store

Apparently, for those of us that thought e-commerce was going to bring an end  to brick and mortar store fronts, Amazon.com has just shown us that physical stores will never really go out of fashion.

According to Forbes Magazine, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos never wrote off the role of offline storefronts. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Amazon will soon open an offline location as the company is set to unveil its first store in Midtown Manhattan.

WSJ says the new store could deal with same-day delivery, pickups, returns and even serve as a potential showroom for Amazon’s new gadgets.

Ads Are Coming To Snapchat, Says CEO

According to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, ads are coming soon to the app.

Spiegel said the ads would be incorporated in Snapchat's "Stories" feature, which allows users stitch together videos and photos into a slideshow.

The CEO also said the ads would not be targeted and users can choose whether or not they want to view the ads.

Meanwhile, some days ago, the WSJ reported that Yahoo and Snapchat have been having talks, which might lead to SnapChat getting some funding from Yahoo. Exactly how much is however unspecified.

Nikki Laoye Launches #BuyACane Project For Visually Impaired Persons

Award winning Christian singer and Humanitarian, Nikki Laoye has kicked off a fundraising campaign tagged "The #BuyACane Project", aimed at raising funds to purchase white guide canes, used as mobility aids for visually impaired persons.

The project is an ongoing initiative under her Angel 4 Life Foundation; and since 2012, has been in support of the International White Cane Day which holds on the 15th Of October, every year.

This is a special day celebrated across the globe to support and encourage the achievements of visually impaired persons.

This year's edition is at hand with the theme "Keeping the Blind Moving" and will hold at Excellence Hotel in Ogba, organised by Nigeria Association of the Blind (Lagos Chapter) .
