In honor of the holiday season #SMWLagosChats is on hiatus. The series will be back in full swing on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 8 p.m. WAT/2 p.m. EST.

#SMW Lagos 2015 Venue and Theme Announced! Event Submissions Open!

The 2015 theme for Social Media Week Lagos 2015 has been announced! And it’s “Upwardly Mobile: The Rise of A Connected Africa.” 

The SMW Lagos 2015 theme will definitely facilitate deeply insightful discussions on the impact of mobile technology all over Africa and what that connection, means for global economy.

SMW Lagos 2015 will be held at Landmark Center; a newly built, state of the art event space in Victoria Island, Lagos.

As usual, the format of the week-long conference will be a mixture of keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking events/mixers that explore a wide range of topics including business, entertainment, education, technology and politics.
