Sunday the 14th of December
marked the 9th edition of what is shaping out to be Nigeria’s most
prestigious music awards show, The Headies which was held at The Eko Hotel and
Suites. Amongst the winners at the awards event, were 2 of Now Muzik
Management’s artistes; 2face Idibia and Niyola, both of whom the awards for
Best R ‘n’ B Single and Best Vocal Performance (Female) respectively thereby
capping what has been a significant year for the entertainment service outfit.
For 2face, the award winning track is Let Me Love You which features Bridget Kelly, the first single off 2Face Idibia’s 6th album ‘The Ascension’ which upon release debuted at No 12 on Billboard World Albums Chart.

Not a lot of artistes have had a better year than Niyola who added her first ever Headies award to her enviable award shelf which already consists of a Nigerian Music Video Awards, and a City People Award in 2014 alone. Love To Love You, the song with which she bagged the award, features Banky W.
