Are you a young entrepreneur in/around Surulere? Apply now to be one of the 10 candidates for #SurulereStartups!  #NigerianStartups is a community-based enterprise programme that kicked off in April 2014 with the pilot #SurulereStartups, where young entrepreneurs are engaged, mentored and supported to create a network of value-adding activities. 

 This pilot will ultimately be presented, after a 30-month period, as a case study for building enterprising youth and creating jobs community-by-community across the continent.

The objective is to help start ups with training, access to funding and other ancillary services with a mandate to ensure they survive and grow.

To qualify, participating entrepreneurs must be:

1.      Aged 35 and below, ii) must be African in origin,

2.     Should have a business either based in/around Surulere or with a founder who grew up in or around Surulere (Yaba, Ijeshatedo, Mushin, Shomolu)

3.      Must own Nigeria-based businesses below $30,000 in annual turnover.
