According to Snapchat CEO Evan
Spiegel, ads are coming soon to the app.
Spiegel said the ads would be
incorporated in Snapchat's "Stories" feature, which allows users
stitch together videos and photos into a slideshow.
The CEO also said the ads would not
be targeted and users can choose whether or not they want to view the ads.
Meanwhile, some days ago, the WSJ
reported that Yahoo and Snapchat have been having talks, which might lead to
SnapChat getting some funding from Yahoo. Exactly how much is however
unspecified.
