Eko International Film Festival 2015


The annual Eko International Film Festival (EKOIFF) is Nigeria’s leading international film festival in the coastal megacity of Lagos in southwestern Nigeria.
It was founded and established by Supple Communications Limited in 2009  and Hope Obioma Opara  is the Founder/President  of Eko International Film Festival and Supple Communications Limited
The mission of Eko International Film Festival is to promote the appreciation of Arts and Culture through the motion picture arts and sciences and boost tourism in the global village.
Eko International Film festival is owned (Trade Mark and Copy Right) and organized by Supple Communications Limited , the publishers of Supple magazine, the first film festivals and culture magazine in Africa showing previews and reviews of movies.

“Gidi Culture” is a TV series that represents the average Nigerian Youth, and draws from many of their experiences. The show follows several young people from different walks of life as they relate to each other under various climates of prosperity and privation often associated with life in Gidi (Nigeria). The series launches LIVE on the 25th of October 2015.

Ayo Makun: AY begins shoot for new movie.

Following the success of 30 Days in Atlanta, Comedian and creator of AY Live, Ayo Makun, has begun work on a new movie.

The 37-year-old posted what appears to be a movie scene on Instagram and captioned it “Let the shoot begin #anothermovie #@Giama #Houston#atlanta #AtripToJamaica”

30 Days in Atlanta won the 2015 Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Comedy and the New Era Award at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Muyiwa Ademola Becomes Brand Ambassador.

Nollywood creative actor and producer Muyiwa Ademola popularly called Muyiwa Authentic is the latest entertainer to be unveiled as a brand ambassador.

Authentic will in a matter of days be officially unveiled as the brand ambassador of a property company, Schemelink Properties Limited.

Authentic is expected to seal the endorsement on October 31, 2015 when he will officially sign documents at Protea Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, on October 31.

Muyiwa was apart of celebrated Nollywood actors who read to the students of Ondo state in their bid to inspire students to read more books.

'Shattered Romance' Everything you need to know about Juliet Ibrahim's movie

Check out 5 things you don't know about the movie which premieres on October 16, 2015, 

 


1. Shattered Romance is Juliet Ibrahim's second movie as a producer. 
2. It is suspense filled. According to the actress, she fell in love with the movie's suspense, five pages into the script. 
3. It revolves around a man cheating on his wife. "I think every woman out there like to hear about it, and what happens at the end of the day, because we all go through that," the actress said.
4. There's a big twist around it, and it is totally an unpredictable one. According to the actress, it's not the kind of movie you just sit down, and predict the end.
5. The director Eddie Nartey had a different title for the movie, but Juliet  chose the title 'Shattered Romance.'

All About Omoli Oboli's "the first lady" Movie Premiere!


 Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli, has started a tour to promote her new movies across Nigeria cinemas and her first promotion outside Lagos took place in Enugu state on Monday, 5th of October while the movie will be premiered at Abuja today, the 6th day of October.

Other cities on the to stop are Port Harcourt on October 7, Uyo (October 8), Calabar (October 9), Ibadan (October 10) and Benin on Sunday, October 11.

Omoni Oboli is joined on the tour by the movie’s lead actor, Alex Ekubo.

THE STAR STUDDED, SPECIAL CRIMES UNIT SERIES IS HERE.



Ex Fani Oluwakayode  lover, Creator Yemisi Wada recently released the First Look of her crimes series, tagged “Lasgidi Cops” ahead of press screening.

With 13 episodes for its first season premiere, the series is about a Special Crimes unit created and put together by the Chief Persecutor; Ore Fadeyi (Bimbo Akintola), to battle a shadow organization whose substance is yet to be determined, it will interest you to know that the series is star studded that features veterans like Joke Silva, Femi Branch, Bimbo Akintola and Ekpenyong Bassey. The series also features prodigy and talented actors like Kehinde Bankole, Wole Ojo, Kelechi Udegbe, Adesua Etomi, and Olumide Oworu.

The series is about a Special Crimes unit created and put together by the Chief Prosecutor, Ore Fadeyi (Bimbo Akintola), to battle a shadow organization whose substance is yet to be known. Over the course of the investigation the Crimes Unit battles to investigate a mercurial organisation clutching at straws and uncovering a plot to organized all crimes and ultimately take over the government of the state; which is Lagos state. I am very sure it will worth the wait, when it’s fully released, so anticipate.
